Hello. My name is Iroha. I’m in the second year of Sapporo Minami high school.
I have studied English at Primary since I was 2 years old. Before going to a kindergarten, I took pre-school lesson. It was enjoyable and the experience of talking with English teachers from abroad helped improve my English a lot, especially in terms of listening and speaking.
Once I started elementary school, I started to take two classes at Primary. One is an English conversation class, in which I get used to English by being immersed in native speaker’s English. The other one is an EIKEN class, where I read various kinds of passages and study grammar. Each class develops my English in a different way. Thanks to those two classes, this July I passed the EIKEN grade 1 exam on my first attempt. Now, I’m studying for the TOEFL examination and advancing my English conversation.
Studying English at primary broadened my vision for the future. Now, my goal is to go abroad and see the world with my own eyes. I will improve my English skills more to realize my dream!

英検一級に合格しました！
こんにちは。札幌南高校2年生の足利采葉です。
私は、二歳の時からプライマリーに通っています。幼稚園に入る前は、プリスクールに行ってました。プリスクールは楽しく、また外国人の先生と話すという経験は、特に聞く力と話す力の面で英語力を伸ばしてくれました。
小学生になってからは、二つのレッスンに通っています。一つは外国人の先生との英会話で、ネイティブの英語漬けになって英語に慣れることを目的としています。もう一つは日本人の先生の英検対策クラスで、ここでは色々な種類の文章に触れたり、文法を学んだりしています。それぞれのレッスンが、異なる面で英語を伸ばしてくれています。二種類のレッスンのおかげで、ついに、今年の七月に英検一級に一発合格しました。今は、英会話の上達とTOEFLに向けた勉強をしています。
プライマリーで英語を習うことで、将来の視野が広がりました。今の私の目標は、外国に行って自分の目で世界を見ることです。夢を叶えるために、さらに英語に磨きをかけたいと思います！
